Why We Built This Site
Mississippi public-record access can be straightforward once the court is known, yet Marion County does not have one anonymous case-search page for every court. The Circuit Clerk keeps Circuit civil and criminal records. The Chancery Clerk keeps Chancery and land-related records. Justice Court and Columbia Municipal Court use their own local channels. A docket is the running record of filings and settings, so the court, clerk, and case category must match before a search or request can work.
What You Will Find Here
- Docket guides: local routes for criminal dockets and civil dockets
- Court dates and settings: how to read the court calendar and confirm a hearing date or setting
- Case lookups: how to approach a case search through MEC, PAMEC, or the correct local counter
- Record requests: how court records and certified copies are requested from the clerk of court
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference resource, not a Mississippi court, clerk, or government agency. Its limits are important:
- We cannot pull an official docket sheet or case file for anyone
- We cannot change, reschedule, or reset a court date or hearing setting
- We cannot remove, seal, or amend a case on any docket
- We cannot issue certified copies of any docket, order, or court document
- We cannot give legal advice or explain how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot guarantee that every published phone number, fee, or setting remains current
Only the clerk or court that holds a Marion County case can supply its official or certified copy. The resource can identify a route, but it cannot replace that custodian.
Search Partners
Some pages contain search boxes provided by third parties. Those services decide their own terms, pricing, and results. A paid signup reached through one may produce referral revenue that helps support this resource, but the operators control neither the charges nor the returned information.
